iPad 3! I Have to Have It!

So, in a yearly tradition of updating devices, the iPad 3 will be announced tomorrow at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. I was an early iPad adopter, and still have my original version from 2010. Now, though, as it has been two years, I've decided to upgrade. I hope to get my hands on an iPad in the next couple weeks. I hope pre orders are available, because everyone knows that if you don't get your hands on the first batch of a new Apple product, you'll be waiting for several weeks. My parents keep telling me though that I have to be patient. I understand that, but in utter reality, I've been patient. I was patient when all the kids came to school with iPad 2s. I was patient when rumors of the new iPad started circling inAugust. I was very patient when i started saving my money in a jar back in October, selling old devices I didn't use any more. Well, I think I've been patient long enough. I'm getting the iPad on its launch date. I'm going to waltz into the Apple store with a jar which contains seven hundred dollars cash, and I am going to leave with my new slice of amazing technology, content in the fact that I WAS patient, and that rather than begging my parents for one, I saved the money myself. This is how I gained my first iPad, and using it just feels so much more satisfying.

This is my original iPad. I decided to keep it, and I have made an inexpensive, seven dollar wall mount in the kitchen for a family tablet that we can all use to better organize our household.

"Oh, Don't Make Me Sing"

Well, it seems as if this is the week of auditions for me. When I say this, I do not mean it lightly. It’s not that I have very many auditions this week, but they’re all so major. As of right now, I have already done two of the four auditions this week.
The first audition was actually a funny story. Next week is GBN Choir’s Techny Concert, and rather than having soloists in one of our songs, we are having small groups perform the solo parts instead. For the boys solo, only four boys stood up. The first boy sang the part, all by himself. I suppose it must have been somewhere between the time of the other boy starting to sing and his finishing the phrase that our director decided that all four boys who stood would sing the part. Boy, it was a little awkward for the one bass who had to sing.
Then, of course, I have my big auditions this week. On Tuesday, I auditioned for a Chorus part in GBN’s production of The Phantom of the Opera. I felt very confident singing “Prima Donna,” but I had a very awkward voice crack on “Masquerade.” Luckily, though, the director saw past that little crack and I now have a callback on Friday. I was quite nervous though. I calmed myself by remembering that when the director mulls it over, she’ll see I’m in Express and 4x4, so I can’t be too bad. Now I just have to iron out that crack for Friday.
Now, here’s the biggy, the huge audition I have Saturday. I have been registered to audition for The Voice on NBC. Not only is this an amazing audition opportunity, but I’m sure the experience will be exhilarating as well. I’ve always wanted to be on TV, and here, I have an actual chance for it to happen. It’s not some silly little idea as if I’ll be randomly discovered. I actually have an opportunity to make my dream come true. Maybe I’ll be able to wake and live that marvelous dream.
Now, I hate asking my readers for things, but this one isn’t anything like voting for me for King of the Web or anything like that. All I ask is for you to just wish me luck. Just once. Please and thank you!
“Byeeeee!”

-Interesting little note, a good percentage of YouTubers end videos by saying "Bye" but with a long, hard E vowel sound.

Three Fourths of a Thousand!

This video has more than seven-hundred-fifty views? I'm sorry, when did that happen? I am quite confused! All I know though, is that I'm rather excited. I have had a lot going on in my YouTube career recently, including having personal exchange of conversation with major YouTubers, such as StrawBurry17 and Elmify. I even had a top rated comment on a video of StrawBurry's. Hopefully, I'm on the right track to the fame I utterly desire. It is a little bit of a lame wish, to be famous. Everyone seems to like the idea, but I feel I want it more than others. I don't just want benefits, I just like the idea of people knowing my name. So, I'm excited to announce that once February is underway, my videos will be coming back with full force. I will be doing much more blogging on the go and more full length videos. So stay on the look out, cause I am ready to become the next big thing on YouTube. Of course, I am going to have to work pretty hard for this, but I think I can manage. My current plans include a Q&A video, and several ideas that I'm going to keep secret, but expect to see more of my friends in my videos! It's going to be a bumpy ride, and I plan on taking my viewers and readers there with me.
